Costas is responsible for the overall management of Veltio’s strategy and growth, and offers over 13 years of experience in Retail Analytics, primarily with Oracle Retail (formerly Retek) applications. He served as one of Retek’s first principal RDF consultants and during his time at Retek and Veltio, he has handled the most challenging implementations for the largest and most tech-savvy Oracle Retail customers around the world.
In his long consulting career, Costas has worked with a wide array of retailers all over the world, from mid-size fashion retailers to large national and international chains. He has served in virtually every role associated with Oracle Retail applications, moving from application development and customer support to technical consulting, solution design, business process analysis and project management. Because of his broad experience, Costas is uniquely positioned to provide quality counsel regarding how best to enable customers to extract the full value from Oracle Retail applications.
Costas earned his Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.Close
Co-Founder and Partner
Jeff is a Co-Founder of Veltio and has spent nearly 15 years as an expert in retail supply chain software, mainly with Oracle Retail applications. As an application developer and then a solution architect at Retek (Oracle Retail), Jeff was instrumental in the creation and enhancement of several prominent Oracle Retail applications, most notably Advanced Inventory Planning (AIP) and Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF). Among his accomplishments, Jeff led the largest and most recent implementation of Oracle Replenishment Optimization (RO) version 13, saving the customer $25M in 6 months.
Jeff works with a wide variety of world-class national and international retailers, consulting in a variety of strategic capacities, from technical consulting to solutions architecture to business analysis and project management. Jeff is frequently sought after to help retailers enhance business processes and ensure the seamless integration of new software installations with legacy systems.
Prior to working as a consultant, he worked at Retek, Inc as the Chief Architect and Developer for Advanced Inventory Planning (AIP), which combines industry best practices with statistical modeling techniques to project inventory needs at all levels of the supply chain.
Jeff earned his Master of Science in Statistics degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology after receiving Bachelor of Science degrees in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Central Florida.Close
John has 20 years of experience working for a major international retailer and as a worldwide retail consultant. As Veltio’s newest partner, John leads retail system integration projects for global supply chain planning and analytics implementations.
Over the past seven years John has worked with a wide variety of retail companies, from national chains to large multinational retailers. He led Demand Forecasting and Merchandise Planning projects with brands such as: Tesco (UK), Tesco (Central Europe), Samsung Tesco (South Korea), Sainsbury (UK), WH Smiths (UK), Woolworth’s (South Africa) and, most recently, Renner (Brazil). For these projects John had full P&L responsibility, led functional design/deployments, organized/facilitated the business design sessions, managed the off-shore technical configuration teams and supervised the development team through the building and delivery process. With each implementation John takes an innovator’s approach from the design of custom data pre-processing algorithms through enhanced data migration from legacy systems to the new optimized system.

Vice President of Strategic Consulting
Joe is Veltio’s Vice President of Strategic Consulting. He has worked in the retail industry for 20 years, holding positions in store management (K-Mart) and Purchasing (Certified Grocers). On the consumer packaged goods (CPG) supplier side, he led teams in Sales and Space Management (Kraft), Space and Category Management (Wrigley) information/analytical systems and formal brand management (GlaxoSmithKline).
As a strategic consultant, Joe has worked across all classes of retail trade, with a number of leading regional (Schnucks, Raley’s and Hy Vee), national (Kroger, Walgreens and Best Buy) and international (Boots, WH Smith and The Dixon Group) retailers. He has facilitated merchandising solutions in category management and price planning & optimization.
Joe studied internationally at Cambridge, England where he earned his Post Graduate degree in Interdisciplinary Design (Architecture & Engineering). He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Valparaiso University in Indiana and his MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Chicago. As a student of Stephen Covey, Joe studied at the “Center for Principled Leadership” where he earned his certification as a Leadership Consultant.Close
Kyle has over 30 years of experience in retail and retail software solutions. She brings a wealth of industry experience to Veltio, where she is responsible for leading Planning and Markdown Optimization implementations.
In addition to holding various positions at an off-price retailer for over 13 years and working for two different Mass Merchants, Kyle previously was a senior business consultant at ProfitLogic and Retek (both subsequently acquired by Oracle) . In this role, Kyle guided clients through defining essential business requirements, productively resolving issues and gaining user acceptance enabling them to successfully implement Oracle Retail’s planning and price optimization solutions. She also previously managed a Style Definition solution redesign project for a $3.6 billion specialty retailer of lingerie and beauty products.
Kyle was the recipient of Oracle’s Retail Consulting Award for Performance Excellence and has worked on numerous projects with a wide variety of retailers including: Macy’s, Landmark Group, Deckers (UGGs), Aldo,Toys R Us, CVS, Eroski, Stein Mart, The Children’s Place, Kroger, El Palacio de Hierro and Victoria’s Secret.

Curt is a principal consultant. Prior to joining Veltio, he spent 30 years at Nordstrom, building his skills from the ground up, moving from stock person through sales and management to buying and merchandising. He began the second half of his career at Nordstrom as a business analyst, gaining experience in process design, before supporting the development and implementation of merchandising systems in IT, including planning, replenishment, optimization and reporting applications in the Oracle Retail suite of tools.
Skilled at partnering with leadership stakeholders, Curt’s deep experience in fashion retail builds credibility. In addition, Curt has facilitated the development of the updated organizational design and change readiness efforts needed to ensure role clarity and successful business uptake.
As a consultant, Curt supported Assortment Plan and Size Profile Optimization design for Forever 21.

Marta is a principal consultant. Prior to joining Veltio, she spent her entire life in the retail industry – including 14 years at Nordstrom,. Working in many different functions through the course of her career, Marta has experience in replenishment buying, replenishment integration, financial planning and merchandise training to name a few.
Having a vast experience in the implementation process – from conceptual/design sessions and gap analysis, to user acceptance plans and go-live integration trainings, Marta brings a unique skill set to the tables. Able to pair her real-world experience with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with our clients, she’s a key asset to any integration.
As a consultant, Marta has supported Assortment Planning and Size Profile Optimization with Forever 21. She has also worked with key clients such as Disney Stores and Kroger.
